having a sensitive skin isn't fun at all. i struggled a lot on searching chemical free skin products whenever i can. i have really bad skin and got affected by Eczema when i was twelve. what is Eczema? Eczema is a chronic skin condition in which the skin becomes itchy, irritated, inflamed and dry. it's not dangerous but it can be really annoying and troublesome. when i was young, my dad often brought me to the skin care specialist and spent few hundred on every visits. the medication given by the doctor only allowed to control irritation but does not cure my skin entirely. since then, i stopped eating food that will trigger my skin and use ONLY organic body care products. as far as i know, organic products can be really pricy too!

skin irritation can be caused by lots of factors. it might be the surrounding, immune system disorders, infection by medications or even food intake. here are some tips you can note down if you have irritated skin like me.
1) SWITCH YOUR BODYWASH
commercial skincare products contain about 200+ chemicals which increase lathering and shelf-life can result in dry, itchy, sensitive or even skin problem like Eczema ๏̯͡๏ start using chemical free soaps that are suitable for your skin. i choose their Avocado and Calendula soaps because it helps in moisturising, nourishing my skin and anti Eczema. both soaps have natural restorative properties that infuse the skin with a youthful glow ▰˘◡˘▰
2) SHOWER MORE OFTEN AND USE ORGANIC BODY SCRUB
rose hips awaken and revitalize tired-looking skin and help reduce the signs of ageing. sea salt scrubs promote relaxation, reduced stress, enhanced circulation, increased detoxification, improved skin integrity and decreased inflammation when used alone and in combination with botanicals. i use body scrub once a week in order to remove stubborn dirts.
3) FOOD CONTROL
drink plenty of water and eat clean food whenever is possible. believe me, eating clean food plays an important role on reducing skin irritation. i stop getting itchiness after i started eating clean. more fruits and sleep early does help too. make sure you have at least 8 hours of sleep everyday.
4) APPLY LOTIONS
love your skin first. apply lotions on your body every night and every morning before and after you wake up or after taking your shower. do not under estimate the weather in Malaysia, bring along sun care products whenever is possible.
