Lifestyle // How I Lose My Weight

Understand your food intake, amount of water intake and regular exercise.

most of the people do not know what is the balance point on getting a perfect body. i mean, working out every single day will not help you to lose weight AT ALL if you do not control your food intake. me myself do not know either until i started to get more tips through the internet and through my own experiences.

Rule No1: Eat More Meals

what i meant by 'eat more meal's is actually eat more meals at a small amount, enough to keep yourself full for at least 2 hours. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! people often skip meals because they have this 'oh i skip meals and i'll loose weight' kinda thinking in their brains which i found totally ridiculous. starving yourself will cause your body receiving the wrong message by STORING BODY FATS as you consume larger amount of food on your next meal. so, get the right meal every day and eat small portion, you'll see drastic change sooner than you can imagine.

Rule No2: Water

drink plenty of water every morning when you work up. add a slice of lemon will help too!

bloat is caused by water retention. water retention occurs when fluid isn’t removed from the body tissues. this will be one of the reasons why you're getting 'fat tummy'. water retention come from a lack of water because you're body doesn't know when it will get more water so it retains the water in your body.

it's not hard to get rid of water retention if you have the correct food intake. to achieve a perfect body, your FIRST THING to worry about is your food! now lets toss the junks and restore your fridge with healthy food! oh wait! but that doesn't mean that you must STOP eating your favourite food. i know it's really hard to get rid of your favourite curry mee or char koey teow. i love my laksa too! ಠ‿ಠ you can still have them once or twice a week. get 2 or 3 happy meals and split them in a week ◕◡◕



WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW?!

1) firstly, cut down on salt intake. cook your own food.
2) protein intake. eating more protein encourages your body to shed excess fluid. e.g., bananas.
3) cut down on alcohol. **GOODBYE BEER BELLY
4) eat a healthy, balanced diet that contains a lot of vegetables and fruits. MORE GREENS, MORE COLORS ▰˘◡˘▰
5) exercise constantly will help reduce water retention. at least 20 mins of cardo. sweat them all out!

i usually drink a glass of juice (empty stomach) as breakfast or i mix my own cereal. oat is the best carbs to satisfy your little tummy. i mix 1 spoon of rolled oat + 2 hand full of cheerio or cornflake + a bit of raisins + cashewnuts + low fat milk. you can mix honey or yogurt or even fruits! play around so you won't get bored of your clean diet =D

as for lunch, i grilled chicken + potatoes + onions + tomatoes + steam broccoli. i take nuts as snacks to satisfy my stomach sometimes. dinner time, i usually grilled salmon + potatoes or wholegrain pasta. i wanted to see faster result and therefore, i keep my diet clean for few months. meaning no happy meals at all =)

DONT NOT STOP UNTIL YOU ACHIEVE WHAT YOU WANT! KEEP THE MOMENTUM ROLLING!!

    1. haha! fats are always hidden. i have to keep working out to keep myself slim. Malaysia has too many good food you know! #firstworkproblem =(

    1. hello. i used to gym everyday (3 hours) because i have really severe bloat problem a year ago. for now, i usually gym for 1-2 hours. 1 hour of cardio, 1 hour of weight lifting for toning. depends on what i want to achieve =)

  3. 3 hours everyday?wow so motivated. i managed to work out like 5x a week & it only last until the third month. so u only see the results after a year?how do you differentiate bloated tummy or not?

    1. yea used to be very motivated back then haha, well i guess i need a break now. did only 1 to 2 hours per session. i actually see results in 3 months time (very very clean diet with no cheat meals). oh i have already stated in my post about bloated tummy =)

  4. Helloooo. I'm not a really sporty person and I hatee working out. But does it help in reducing thigh fat ? Other than cutting down the bloated tummy and getting abs. Does your tips help in reducing thigh and calf fats ?
